More Amuse-Bouche!

A week of A Muse sneak peeks continues today! This was such a quick card to make, I think it's taking me longer to photograph and upload than it did to make it! :)

Can you spot what's new? The gorgeous new sentiment, Deepest Sympathy, the Leaves Trio stamp, and the gorgeous blue shimmer paper.

I also used one of my first A Muse purchases and a stamp that I use all the time, Big Block. It's a solid block and is the perfect background when your CAS card or OLC needs a little somethin'. For this project, I sponged light blue chalk ink on Big Block, focusing on the edges. After that, I masked off the edges of the rectangle with post-it notes and stamped the leaves. It's so easy, but it gives nice depth. <--- (trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about.) The colors are bright for a sympathy card, but I think all of the white space and touches of black make it still appropriate. I have to give a shout-out to Novell. The beautiful card that she posted yesterday really got me thinking about masking and totally inspired this card.

Make sure you stop by the A Muse blog for more sneak peeks. I had a card and a 3-D project yesterday, check them out! :)
