Onesie Tutorial!

3. Stamp or iron on writing if desired.
About the T-shirt Transfers....
You just print pictures, text, whatever on your printer and iron it on to your fabric. When doing text, you need to print backwards. The T-shirt Transfers came with a free disk that is supposed to help you reverse your text. That disk made my computer poop itself, but no matter, because it's really easy to print your font backwards without it. Here's how:
On your regular print dialogue box, hit Properties in the upper right corner, select the Finishing tab, then in the lower right corner, click Mirror Image.
You may notice the bottle of Stickles in the first pic. Here's where my project took a turn towards fiasco. I wanted to try adding sparkle to the images, so I researched and found that Stickles are safe for fabric. Safe, yes, permanent, NO. I put Stickles over the images and it was adorable, but I ran them under water and it quickly rinsed away. Hrrrmm, not impressed. Art Institute makes clear glitter glue for fabric, I think that paired with translucent glitter will give the same pretty results and will be washable. I've ordered some to try out, lets just pretend that I used that here, ok? ;)

Krystie - these are so adorable! Sweet Kawaii is one of my all time fav's and is perfect for onesies. Thanks for the tutorial!
One quick question - what font did you use? I just love it and would like to add it to my collection. thanks :)
These are soooo cute! What a *fabulous* idea to use glitter!
great tutorial! Those are so so cute!
@Stephanie - I used a font that SU! used to sell on a disk, it's retired now, but it's called KP Quick. You could probably find it on ebay or BST at Splitcoast if you really had to have it. I love it, too! I think it's the same font used for Loads of Love and Unfrogettable stamp sets, if you know those. Thanks for the nice comment! :)
I love your little onesies- you should sell them on Esty asap!!

Could these BE any cuter...My little boy is going to have a slew of stamped onesies and my daughter will have the matching feminine version...LOVE IT! TY!
These are soo cute! For the "glitter glue"... I wonder if mixing "fabric glue" with dazzling diamonds or other fine glitter. I have been wanting to try this stamping on fabric and love the glitter idea. I suppose I could try it on scrap T-shirt fabric. Question though, do you wash the onsies first, before stamping, and then again after to ensure stability of the image? Any help is appreciated!
