May Day...and bad news

I'll skip right to the bad news. Elsa lost her little pet fish, Dorothy, this morning in a freak garbage disposal accident. Jesse was changing her water and.....whoops, down she went. He couldn't retrieve her, so he had to flip the switch.

Moment of silence....

Moving on, Happy May day, everybody!!! :)

I'm really cranking out the cards this week. I made these for a Hero Arts blog challenge to use flowers. I don't have any Hero Arts floral sets, so I had to work with what I had. I made both of these with my Mom in mind! She's been working on getting healthier lately, and I'm really proud of her, we want her around for a long time!

First, a row of little flowers. I sponged a swipe of green and added some tiny pearls on the flower centers. The flower stamp is from Woodland Creatures, the sentiment from Anytime Messages.

I'm very picky about people and animal stamps, I don't like that many. I really love this little guy, though! All stamps from Woodland Creatures, paper is by SU!
Thanks for stopping by, and if you need to orchestrate a hit on any pet fish, you know who to call.

Both cards are fab and I adore that set from Hero, too!

DH mowed over a baby bunny two years ago and had bad bunny karma for months afterward. Hope your family doesn't suffer bad fish karma. Perhaps fish aren't as high on the karma scale as bunnies.

Adorable cards. I'm new to stamping and love the mask on you cards. Do you put the image or mask on the card first? Hope you don't mind my asking.

Awww, poor Elsa's fish. I don't have any fish that need taken out, but perhaps a cat? I can pay in stamps.
Both cards are adorable, I love the row of flowers and that adorable raccoon. And I laughed at your comment in my gallery about enabling you to get some Kim Hughes stamps! Glad to help out.
